Joining the Atlanta Falcons ownership team

Warrick with Atlanta Falcons majority owner
Arthur M. Blank

"During his tenure with the Falcons and throughout his NFL career, Warrick represented the highest of NFL standards on and off the field."

— Arthur M. Blank

After his last year playing in the NFL, Warrick knew he wanted to continue his love for the game of football off the field. After exploring the typical post-football routes, Warrick pursued taking a stake in the Falcon's ownership group, led by Arthur M. Blank.

The opportunity of becoming a minority owner fulfilled one of Warrick's professional goals to expand his knowledge and experience in the areas of NFL team management, branding and operations. He is excited to be a part of the Falcons team and, in particular, to work with Mr. Blank.

Warrick has a special relationship with Mr. Blank, whom he sometimes calls "Pops." He believes Mr. Blank is truly an owner who takes pride in the things he invests in and Warrick wants to duplicate this model.

Leading to bigger and better things

Thinking outside the box, Warrick saw the position as an investment that could lead to bigger and better things. He wants to continue to learn all aspects of the business from Mr. Blank. The deal made Warrick the fifth person to have minority ownership in the Falcons. He also became a member of the Atlanta Falcons Board of Advisors, which is comprised of other limited partners including, Ronald E. Canakaris, Douglas J. Hertz, and Ed Mendel.

The advisory board supports Falcons business and player development efforts and serves as Falcons ambassadors in the community.

Warrick hopes that his role as a limited partner can help younger players if they need advice or if they just want to talk. He wants to be that ear or that voice of reasoning because he understands both sides of the game.
